Thai Freeze Dry sits close to the farms it contracts with, and their protocol is same-day processing for sensitive raw material. A harvested plant starts to degrade straight away. This one is in the dryer before that gets going.

Thai Freeze Dry runs its own laboratory and screens incoming raw material for pesticides, heavy metals and harmful microbes before any of it reaches the dryer.

Why one manufacturer
Marcapa, LLC is in Missoula, Montana. We picked one manufacturer and one drying process and built the whole range on it.
That manufacturer is Thai Freeze Dry, in Lamphun. Conventional freeze-drying leaves the product still on trays, warms the batch at the end to drive off the last of the moisture, and then grinds the dried cake into powder. The grinding ruptures the cell structure the drying just protected. Vortex Freeze-Dry does both in one motion, so that second step never happens.
Everything else follows from that choice. It is why all three formulas come off one line, in one factory, and why we can tell you what happens at every step.
