Marcapa is a botanical supplement company based in Missoula, Montana. Our formulas are made at a single facility in Lamphun, northern Thailand, using Vortex Freeze-Dry—a low-temperature process designed to minimize heat and handling while helping preserve the plant’s natural structure.

Every Marcapa formula is produced in Lamphun, northern Thailand, at the same SGS-audited facility.
Third-party tested
Our Black Ginger has been independently tested by a US laboratory for 5,7-dimethoxyflavone, one of its naturally occurring compounds.
Why Vortex Freeze-Dry
Every Marcapa formula is made at the same facility in Lamphun, northern Thailand, using Vortex Freeze-Dry.
Freeze-drying removes water from frozen botanicals at low temperatures, helping preserve plant structure and heat-sensitive compounds. Conventional processes typically dry the material first, then warm and grind it in separate steps.
Vortex Freeze-Dry combines drying and milling in one continuous process. The botanical stays in motion as the water is removed, producing a fine powder without a separate grinding step. The process finishes at low temperature with less than 2% residual moisture.
One facility and one process keep the range consistent from formula to formula.
From harvest to capsule

Grown close to the facility
We work with Thai farmers near our Lamphun facility and plan each crop in advance for quantity and quality. Sensitive botanicals are processed the same day they’re harvested.
Frozen soon after harvest
The botanicals are frozen before drying begins, helping slow degradation and preserve their natural structure.
Freeze-dried and milled in one step
Under vacuum, ice leaves the frozen botanical as vapour while the batch stays in motion. That same motion mills it into powder, without a separate grinding step.
Encapsulated at the source
The finished botanical is filled into capsules and bottled in Lamphun, rather than shipped overseas as loose powder for additional handling.
